The Agri-Energy Nexus

The session will explore how renewable energy, and regenerative agriculture can help build more resilient, productive and competitive African food systems. As countries move to implement the CAADP Kampala Declaration, progress is often slowed by fragmented policies, weak investment pipelines and limited evidence for scale. Drawing on recent policy dialogues in Kenya and Uganda, this session will bring together government, private sector, research and development partners to identify practical pathways for stronger coordination, smarter investment and scaled agri-energy solutions across Africa.
